CAFE ESCADRILLE - OUR STORY
This Massachusetts restaurant’s name and spirit were inspired by the Lafayette Escadrille – a squadron of the French Air Service formed in April of 1916. The squadron was composed of spirited and daring American fighter pilots who fought gallantly by day and relished fine food and drink at night. The true test of a restaurant is measured by service, quality and most importantly, time and after 45 years, Café Escadrille continues to serve delicious meals, as well as lunch and late night menus at our Burlington, MA location.
In addition to a quality lunch and dinner service, Café Escadrille continuously adds new aspects to their menu. The famed restaurant now makes its own sushi. Café Escadrille also has an extensive drink menu, with rotating seasonal drinks and customized coffee drinks.
However, our award-winning wine list is the star of the show! With hundreds of bottles to choose from and a sommelier who is always available to help you find the right bottle.
The restaurant operates more like a family than a business. Many staff members have been employed here for over a decade. The restaurant has also been celebrated for its high number of female managers. The women of Café Escadrille play a major role in both planning and executing needs for the restaurant and banquet facility.

We offer a venue for special events that include full menus, cocktail service, and selections from the restaurant’s extensive wine list, as well as sweet creations from our own in-house pastry chef.
In addition to our conference center and business meeting venues, Cafe Escadrille offers private dining in several reception halls for celebrations that include wedding ceremonies, engagement parties, and bridal showers.
