Cafe Escadrille is happy to be celebrating 40 years of providing a variety of unique dining experiences, whether it be late night appetizers at our famous mahogany bar, a casual drink with friends on our outside patio, or a hearty meal in our main dining room.
Our extensive lunch and dinner menus offer classic and contemporary American dishes featuring fresh seafood, succulent steaks and more! The Cafe is the perfect place to dine with friends, family or coworkers.
We have an extensive Wine list, and we are one of the few restaurants in the area that have a late night menu served until midnight.
Established in 1973, Cafe Escadrille first opened its doors under the ownership of Robert W. Murray.
In 2003, Mr. Murray expanded the restaurant to include a multi-room private dining facility reminiscent of a grand country estate. His restaurant and function venue continue to be the premiere choice in the Burlington and greater Boston area.
In 2013, in honor of Cafe Escadrille’s 40th Anniversary, the restaurant started to undergo renovations including an expanded patio, new bar, and an overall more casual and inviting look to begin the next 40 years.
Cafe Escadrille’s name and spirit were inspired by the Lafayette Escadrille – a squadron of the French Air Service formed in April of 1916. The squadron was composed of spirited and daring American fighter pilots who fought gallantly by day and relished fine food and drink at night.
